Dalmation Jasper is a type of Jasper (a type of quartz) that has spots like a dalmation dog! As such it is a fun stone for children, and is believed to bring joy and excitement into your life. In crystal healing it is known to bring families together and strengthen bonds between people.

My name is Lori! Nice to meet you all. I realized I have not introduced myself, or what I do. So it is time to remedy that.

I decided to start making these bracelets and other jewelry because of my love of natural stones. I have a large collection of specimen pieces and love wearing the bracelets on a daily basis to help me heal and keep me calm.

Mermaid Stone

Aquamarine was once believed to the treasure of the mermaid. It calls to mind the peace and tranquility of the calm blue seas. It is known as a calming stone as well as a gentle healer of the mind, body and spirit.

Rose Quart, The Stone of Love!

Rose quartz is a type of quartz that has a lovely pink hue. There is still debate about what causes this stone to be pink in the first place. Some say that there are inclusions of another element, and others say that it is due to heating, like amethyst and citrine. Even unknown Rose Quartz is the perfect stone for healing the heart chakra. It is known to open up the channels of love. 

This can be any type of love. Romantic love for your partner, love of a sibling, or child, or even the love of oneself. If you feel that you need your heart to be more open and receptive to feelings of love or also to lower ones stress levels, then this is the stone for you.

Agate, Ancient Adornment

Agates are a type of chalcedony in the quartz family, and is known for its multitude of colors and banding. There are many types of agates and they can range in many different colors. Making them a great healing stone. Historically they have been found in adornments and ritual items all the way back to Babylon. It was believed to be a stone of power. As the delicate looking bands are deceptively strong. It is also known to help balance the yin and yang.

Garnet, the Restoration Stone

The word Garnet is believed to be derived from the word for the pomegranate seed. This is easy to understand as the garnet is a deep red stone. Though it can come in many different colors, the deep red is the most sought after color.

In crystal healing garnets are known for their revitalizing energies. I find that mostly they are good for diseases of the blood and immune system. I have a dear friend who suffers from diabetes and swears by her garnets to help keep the symptoms at bay. Though it is also known to help with symptoms of ADHD and acid reflux. Emotionally garnets are known to help relieve depression and elevate the wearer's way of seeing the world.

Tourmaline, Balance Stone

Tourmaline is a wonderful stone that come sin many colors and can have multiple colors in one crystal. Watermelon tourmaline specifically is a pink and green color, often in one stone, thus the watermelon resemblance. This stone works with the heart chakra and helps to  connect you with opposing energies. It can cleanse the chakras and remove imbalances. And as such it is known for its ability to balance the soul.

It is known to remove insecurities and unite the male and female halves of a person. This is a great stone to get in touch with yourself.

Labradorite, the Frozen Aurora Borealis

The Inuit people believe that Labradorite is the Aurora Borealis, frozen in stone. It is easy to see why someone would believe this. This beautiful stone comes in a great variety of colors, and often times those colors all come in one stone. I love working with Labradorite because it is a stone that can help ease the problems that arise with change. It is known to grant strength, and perseverance, and as such is a great healing stone.

My husband and I love making these flashy cabochons into beautiful pendants. I call the one below, "The Monarch Wing" due to the resemblance I believe it shares with the butterfly wing pattern. Carnelian, The Feel Good Stone

Carnelian is known as the feel good stone for a reason. With it's beautiful orange/yellow hues, it invokes the power of the sun. Historically in crystal healing it is known to elevate the mood, to make one feel more confident and happy. This is a great stone for live performers, or those who just need a confidence boost! This is my son's favorite stone to carry around, mostly because he loves the color orange, but I think it resonates with his already sunny disposition.
