Historically opals have either been believed to be a stone of great prosperity, or an ill omen of bad tidings to come. It is up to the wearer to decide how they feel about opals. I was born in October, on Halloween to be exact, and I have an effinity for opals. This is October's birth stone.
Green opals specifically tend to offer spiritual and mental clarity. This is a great stone for unblocking what is holding you back and helping you to see what can be. They also make a beautiful stone.
