Citrine is a yellow hued stone that can be naturally heated from quartz or manmade by artificially heating quartz crystals. Citrine is related to amethyst as it is also a type of quartz. True citrine grows in clusters like quartz and is quite rare to find naturally. I find that artificial citrine has the same effects that natural citrine does.
