My name is Lori! Nice to meet you all. I realized I have not introduced myself, or what I do. So it is time to remedy that.
I decided to start making these bracelets and other jewelry because of my love of natural stones. I have a large collection of specimen pieces and love wearing the bracelets on a daily basis to help me heal and keep me calm.

In the middle of the ocean is a small island with hundreds of mysterious tall sentinels. People have wondered for many decades who they were? Who put them there? Why? The mystery is part of the fun of the Moai. This pendant it inspired by that mystery.
The quartz point was dug by me in Arkansas last year and the polymer clay was just asking to become an ancient sentinal. This is for purchase in my shop if you are interested. :-)

Colorado is known as one of the crystal capitals of the world. The many mountain ranges there offer great variety in crystal type. Usually the mountains are known for smoky quartz, amazonite and the rare aquamarine. This is a great place for mining, but most of the land is claimed or owned already.
My family and I were blessed to be able to spend the week there for spring break and seeing this beautiful mountain (Pikes Peak) really got me in the spirit of mining!

Geodes are known in crystal healing to cleanse your other stones. They can be made of quartz, amethyst, calcite and many other materials.
